FRUIT OF THE MONTH
The Fruit of the month is:
GARDENERS DELIGHT TOMATO
This very nice red tomato produces medium sized 25g fruits perfect with a salad or in sandwhiches. Very easy to grow and look after they require tomato feed at the intervals stated on the bottle (usually about every three days) to keep them producing fruit at a good rate. Once the plants reach five trusses pick out the growing tip and you will enjoy beautiful fruits into October.
These seeds should be sown in Februray/March if in a greenhouse or March/April if outdoors.
These are available from most reatialers
September is the time of the year where many vegatables start to decrease in production but when fruits start to hit there peak. This is the time for Autumn and for fruits like apples and pears to be picked so watch out for those!
